i did create this piece for the upcoming gnomon master class
where i would be showing the workflow involved in the creation of this retro future russian skimmer .
- doing the uv using the free maya plugin diamant uv tools from www.tools3d.com
- texturing and a little bit of detailling in zbrush
- shading and render layer / multipass rendering setting in maya
- compositing in digital fusion and finishing in cs

my target was to make it look like a small diorama , hence the exagerated use of DOF
the little guys are running around trying to refuel it in time to go back in the sky
